***IMPORTANT*** – Sports Hall Floor Refurb 22nd-31st May 2017

Apr 9, 2017 | News, Juniors & Adults | 0 comments

Dear Student and Parenst,

The Lime Kiln Leisure Centre main hall will be closed for approximately 11 days during which the floor will be sanded, primed, sealed, relined and repaired in certain areas.

The scheduled dates for closure will be Monday 22nd May – Thursday 1st June inclusive (we are affected 22nd – 31st May).

Once finished it will look like new, however it does mean that for these days we will be unable to access the hall for Taekwondo Classes.

The Sports Centre have relocated us to the following (Please not locations and class changes for the period)

Weds 25th May – Room above the Sports Hall

  • 1810-1900 Juniors
  • 1900-2000 Adults
  • NO LITTLE PUMAs this week

Sunday 28th May – Studio and Squash Courts

These are at the rear of the sports centre through the gym.

  • 1600-1645 Little PUMAs
  • 1600-1655 Juniors
  • 1700-1755 Adults

Weds 31st May – Room above the Sports Hall

  • 1810-1855 LIttle PUMAs
  • 1900-2000 Adults
  • NO Juniors this week

Sunday 4th June – Back to Normal

On the Wednesdays we are limited to one room so this means one week the Juniors miss a lesson and the other week the LIttle PUMAs miss a lesson. As always, where a lesson is missed please feel free to attend the equivelant Sunday/ Wednesday class before or after the Hall refurb to make up the classes.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused but I am sure you will all agree it is a good sign that there is investment being put into our towns sports centre.

Apparently, this will be the start of many future refurbishments within the centre over the next couple of years which shows what a strong position they are in to assures the longevity of the site.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Mr Evans
