PUMA Squad – Final Sessions of 2015

Just a quick reminder that the final PUMA Squad Training Session of 2015 will take place this Sunday at the Oasis Leisure Centre from 10 – 1. With the British Championships fast approaching and the squad trip to Milan the week after this represents a great opportunity to get some additional training in preparation for one or both of these events.

My intention is to get a provisional calendar out for next year around Christmas as well as details of next years 2 international trips which will be the Holland Cup in June and ITF World Cup in October. My intention is that we also offer squad members the opportunity to attend a couple of non-PUMA tournaments within the UK next year although details of these will not be available until nearer the time. There may also be the possibility to run trips to tournaments such as the Open Dutch if there is enough interest (this would be on a self-funding basis only). I will also try and pencil in some provisional squad training dates for 2015 although these will be dependent on other events on the calendar and so may be subject to change.

As previously mentioned our main focus next year will be the ITF World Cup in Budapest which will take place from the 13th to 16th of October in Budapest. This will be a huge tournament and a great opportunity for all squad members to compete at a truly international event (there will be categories for coloured belts and younger juniors as well). I will be aiming to arrange this during the early part of 2015 in order to get an appropriate training schedule in place as well as keeping the cost down as much as possible.

Kind Regards,
Mr. Daniel Lammin
